I Must Really Like The Wavebox.io Browser

I was advocating for using Chrome tabs, tab groups and bookmark organization not too long ago to keep browser clutter down. But now, the Wavebox.io browser has become my default browser. I was overwhelmed when I first tried to use it, but now I use it all of the time.

Wavebox solved two problems for me. It was hard for me to see and read tabs, grouped tabs, and saves time from opening windows and jumping around windows in Chrome. It also saves me time from having to sign back in to platforms with passkeys and code verifications. It also seems to reduce overall window clutter until I can get an oversized monitor.

Once I understood spaces, groups, the webdock, and how to add the apps, everything else seemed to fall in place. I’m still experimenting with different settings and customizations.

A space is like a sealed compartment such as a bank vault. It has its own cookies and logins which makes it perfect for client work, or anything else you want to keep separate. A group, is like a drawer in the bank vault. You can put all your social bookmarks and apps you use to create your posts in one. One could be for a project/s, with the apps and bookmarks you use for that project. The best use I see this for being a virtual assistant, is a group for each client. For example, I can be logged into my Google Workspace apps, and be logged into a client's Google Workspace apps at the same time without file mixing. You just close the groups your not using, leave the client group open. When you reopen a closed group, you're still logged in. Another option for large client jobs is give then their own space. It's all quite customizable.

Every app I use daily is in one space. Inside that space I have a group for main apps, then social/marketing apps, then a group for project apps, all in the webdock. Each tab opens already signed in even after shutting down for the night.

The apps and tabs can live anywhere you put them, across the top, or down the side in the webdock like I have mine for now. You can also have them show as just icons (webdock list view) or like I’ve shown it here (webdock explorer view). Being able to see app and tab text along with having them together is a huge personal preference and an eye saver for me.

There is a nifty, one button easy to access dashboard as well. This is customizable with links and widgets such as quick task list, sticky notes (which I'm addicted to), calendars and more.

If you would like to try it, give me a shout out and I can help you set it up, it's what I love to do.

Permission To Quit A Social Platform Julie Mathews Virtual Assistant July 22, 2026Issue No: 9 If you have been feeling guilty about not posting on every platform, I am giving you permission to let one go, maybe even two. I get it, and here is what I'm learning. There are a couple platforms I really don't care for. However, when researching my target markets, I found that they use those two platforms quite regularly. Chomping at the bit, I activated accounts. Ooops. I have three platforms that...

Your Ingredient List Might Be In The Wrong Order Julie Mathews Virtual Assistant July 11, 2026Issue No: 8 It's Easy To Get Tripped Up Quick question. I’ll gear this towards human food since it’s more relatable than talking pet food, however, this applies to any food consumed by people or animals. Here’s your question: If your jam recipe calls for 2 cups of sugar and 1 pound of strawberries, which ingredient goes first on your label? If you said sugar because it comes first in your recipe, you...

The Pet-care Pros Vaccine Record That Saves You During a Check-In Rush Julie Mathews Virtual Assistant June 30, 2026Issue No: 7 Picture a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. Five families are checking in their dogs at once to be groomed, boarded or pet-sat, and one of them cannot find proof their dog's vaccines are current. You can't count on the pet wearing tags, and if they are, they could be outdated or unreadable. Now the line is being held up. You've got anxious and excited dogs,...
